Customer Service Representative

Being customer oriented and self-motivated, I have developed a strong work ethic and commitment to business success and customer service.  Over the past eight years I have gained a “jack of all trades background” ranging from computer repair and graphic design, to sales and marketing.  Specifically, I have a proven background in the areas of business operations, customer service, project management and merchandising, as well as training and teambuilding. Throughout my career I have demonstrated for my employers an exceptional ability for exceeding organizational objectives and demands while ensuring customer satisfaction. My previous experience in offices, nonprofit agencies, retail businesses, and other service based industries have allowed me to excel in both solo and team environments. Extended temporary customer service position working all aspects of permanent position. Tasks include accurate order entry, responding to inquiries via phone and email, calming angry callers, building relationships, repairing trust and resolving complaints within short periods of time. Interacted daily with accounts, sales representatives, distribution and shipping companies to resolve all issues and concerns brought to my attention. Provided administrative support to entire customer service team, handling special projects and completed advanced training on new computer system.

Maintained office services by organizing and improving office operations and procedures, and designing filing systems. Managed client database, including all permits, scheduling and work orders for three crews and estimators. Handled all customer service, complaints and resolutions, accounts recievable/payable and collections as well as most human resources functions. Participated in designing new website and marketing materials to help promote the business. Provided schedule for company president and monitored followup. Ultimately was responsible for all day to day functions of the business. Promoted to Office Manager within two months due to ability to learn, adapt, and follow through.

Office Manager/Administrative Assistant

Lead Store associate focusing on GeekSquad operations as well as major electronics customer service and sales. Handled Geek Squad operations maintaining client accounts files, accounts and scheduling. Maintained department budgets reducing them to an all-time low while helping to pushing GS customer service to one of the best in the district. Provided sales floor support to all departments as well as providing company policy and procedures. Helped supervise and train departments and new hires to increase sales and customer experience resulting in doubling our sales attachment. Motivated  subordinates to improve performance through personally created training materials, presentations and marketing strategies. Played a key role in advertising sessions and organizing special events, such as Black Friday and Tax-Free Weekend promotions. Recognized as one of the store’s rising stars resulting in selection to complete the Legends Manager Training Program.
