I'm a tenured and proven Sales, Marketing, and Operations professional currently in my second career. Prior to entering the action sports industry, I built accomplishments and developed talent for 16 years as a Sales and Marketing professional within the management and technology industry. I excel in start-up environments, establishing profitable business practices for emerging markets and products. I currently lead a team focused on sales and marketing in the leading global action sports distributor. My role is to create and lead the execution of a new Go-to-Market strategy for our category-focused distribution sales. Over the past year I've worked on various teams as we've undergone a re-platforming of core software systems, and as a result am well-versed in SAP CRM and SAP Sales. Working in a large distributor, I am well-versed in distribution principles and practices, from vendor management to e-commerce opportunities. I also have business unit leadership as Category Manager for Outdoor at QBP, leading QBP's business unit in integrating Outdoor in to the Bike channel. I assist outdoor brand teams in leveraging their new vertical. In January 2013 I was asked to join the Board of Directors of Adventure Cycling Association. I serve on the Development Committee, and assist in diversifying ACA's board membership. In October 2013 I was elected to the board of directors of Precision Tank & Equipment Co. I present at industry events, from topics on leveraging the women's demographic to sustainable business models for specialty retailers. My areas of specialty retail expertise include sales and service training, branding, loss prevention, and market segmentation.
