I am an extremely active person.  i love to play soccer and surf in my free time.  i also have had a huge passion for going on backpacking trips and exploring new places every year. i also have a passion for creating unique designs using illustrator or photoshop

Communications Specialist

I have completed my degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from California State University, Fullerton. Through my immense appreciation for the action sports industry I plan to utilize my communication and creative writing skills to execute effective marketing campaigns that maximize profits and promote the industry by using social media to reach out to customers. 

With my solid experience working as a communications and marketing intern for Orange Coast Community College, I have acquired strong social media skills which allows me to create appealing social media campaign projects that would prove to be efficient when working with a team to form a consistent marketing vision.  Through this internship, I have strengthened my computer skills in order to design effective signage, Prezi PowerPoint presentations, and structured Excel documents for large events like Senior Day and Science Night.   

Additionally, through my experience working on the Newport Beach Film Festival, I have had the opportunity to efficiently communicate the attractions the festival offered through social networking sites to both students and people in the Orange County area.  I can immediately use these skills to contribute to a team working on major communications and marketing projects. 

Recently, at Cal State Fullerton, I worked for PRactical ADvantage, which is a popular student-run advertising and public relations agency.  Specifically I worked as a public relations consultant for VIP Dance Studio, where I have had the opportunity to utilize my skills designing an appealing website that attracts the company’s target market.
