Associate Director of Communications

Skateboarding started me down the path of becoming a communicator. 

Video. Photography. Social Media. Web. Entertainment.  Aspiring everything.

• Update and maintain alumni.oswego.edu and oswego.edu/magazine
• Oversee multiple social media platforms, documenting and assessing metrics
• Design and write for two monthly publications, the Lake E-ffect alumni e-news and Parents e-news 
• Photograph, write and edit the OSWEGO Alumni Magazine, distibuted to more than 78,000 recipients
• Produce additional photos, videos and media content for the web
• Serve on Auxiliary Services board of directors and GOLD leadership council

• Scheduled, promoted and coordinated public events
• Independently oversaw public events such as "Parkway Sundays" and the skate jam
• Met the needs of the public while representing Onondaga County Parks
• Wrote and sent press releases

Recreation Aide

• Directed and technical directed "TOP in the Morning" and nightly news broadcasts
• Camera, master control, sound, graphics and other crew positions held
• Independently produced 3 episodes of "Outkast TV," a show highlighting local extreme sports

Director, Producer, Various Crew

• Produced "150 Years: Alumni Views and Voices" for the sesquicentennial celebration of SUNY Oswego in 2011, a 45-minute documentary featuring more than 30 interviews; 1500 DVD copies were made and distributed
• Captured video and photos at major on- and off-campus events
• Sorted and tagged archive photographs with meta-data

Student Video Producer, Photo Archiver

• Acted as assistant for head writers/executive producers Eric and Justin Stangel
• Distributed and organized scripts and additional paperwork for show writers
• Typed the "Top Ten" and delivered tapes to Mr. Letterman's dressing room

Writing Department Intern

• Captured professional photographs of individuals and groups of more than 20 people
• Utilized training in sales to meet weekly and monthly sales goals
