Associate Director of Contracts and Benefits

Developed and implemented a long-term fundraising plan for the organization, helping to increase donations each year.  Built and cultivated relationships with individual, corporate and foundation donors. Actively worked on public relations activities, as well as grantwriting. Redesigned brochure, press kit and website content to enhance donations and to build awareness.
•	Handled 24+ annual trade conventions throughout the United States and Canada.  
•	Created and managed a UCLA fundraising benefit with Stan Lee and Kevin Smith and a Thanks! party at the Pacific Design Center; both raised over $25,000.

•	Created and directed a Regional Board of Directors made up of dedicated volunteers.

Planned and implemented major events, including a product launch with Chairmen Steven Spielberg and General Norman Schwarzkopf at the Skirball Cultural Center, a major fundraising benefit with celebrity involvement at the Beverly Hilton and two benefit movie screenings.

Efforts resulted in successful placements such as White House Christmas Pageant of Peace, Live with Regis and Kathie Lee, Good Morning America, The Roseanne Show, and many trade and national publications. Ran the Women on Wall Street conference, an annual event that brought women and men of the financial industry together to contribute industry knowledge to one another.  Generated coverage in national and trade publications, managed website content and wrote, edited and supervised marketing communications materials.
