Board Intern

Become an expert in professional online marketing, eventually operate my own retail business.

•	Interned with the ED to learn best board management practices that in turn inspired Quarter Fund operations.
•	Recorded the minutes at monthly board meetings and relayed them to the SVP partnership. 


•	Managed the campaign’s comprehensive marketing strategy, including the authoring and design –in adobe creative suite- of collateral pieces, such as newsletters, post cards, presentations, editorials, and press releases.
•	Researched, authored, and secured the largest NEH award made in Colorado for 2013. Coordinated effort with senators Michael Bennet and Mark Udall. Museum was awarded $200K—the largest in its 76-year history.
•	Instituted email campaigns using MailChimp to promote early membership renewals online, thus avoiding the high costs of snail mail reminders and increasing our overall membership by several percentage points.
•	Redesigned and maintained the Museum’s webpages to further encourage online giving.
•	Created and implemented the operating plan for the $4.5 million Museum expansion. Per plan, proposed event space is conservatively projected to generate an incremental $98,000 for Museum.


Campaign Coordinator

•	Developed the website theme in WordPress, authored all content, curated photography, and selected fonts.
•	Instituted over 30 MailChimp campaigns to solicit grant proposals and communicate with the QF Board.
•	Fostered a critical partnership with the Longmont Community Foundation Director and secured over $3,000 in seed funding for the first youth philanthropy foundation in Boulder County.
•	Recruited 17 board members, all under the age of 30 and gathered nearly $2,000 in membership dues.

•	Within two weeks, drafted, and implemented a holiday ask letter campaign, which brought in over $8,000 for a $250 investment.
