Tierra Murguia is the President of TM Creative Group. She is responsible for conceptualization and implementation of marketing strategies and functions for several clients in the event management and non-profit world. Her services include content management, paid advertising, lead generation, email marketing, social media management and digital strategy, brand awareness, market research, audience measurement, and A/B testing. Tierra began her work in grassroots politics fundraising and managing the daily affairs of the political non-profit. While there Tierra was an integral part of growing the Committee’s social media presence to over 300,000 likes on Facebook and over 13,000 followers on Twitter. During her tenure, Tierra also generated over $16 million in revenue over three years. She then moved on to work for The Heritage Foundation, a leading conservative public policy think-tank in Washington, DC. At Heritage, Tierra was tasked with developing and coordinating marketing strategies for a designated portfolio of policy initiatives. When a Marketing Manager position opened at the Ayn Rand Institute, Tierra took her skills out west to managed a staff of three and lead the general marketing for an 8-million dollar think-tank. Now, Tierra balances work between her Director of Marketing position at Kinane Events and two other clients. Tierra is a graduate of the University of California- San Diego with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science. In 2012, Tierra received her Masters of Arts in Government and Masters of Business Administration from The Johns Hopkins University. In her free time, Tierra enjoys small dogs, soccer, travel, and fantasy football.
