Technical Designer for Allheart medical scrub lines. Brought on to bring division into line with company fit, construction and tech pack standards for both men's and women's styles.

- Responsible for managing the Allheart Brand medical line including twenty-seven designs with an additional six being added to the scope, including men’s and women’s apparel
- Brought Allheart Medical line back in line with the rest of the company standards for garment measurements, consistency of fit, while maintain factory timelines and construction standards
 -Communicated and made pattern corrections directly
- Managed tech pack development from first sample, all fittings and grade rules to pre-production sample

Freelance Production Manager

Designing of soft woven goods in the Juniors and Young Contemporary market at a price point for LPP and BPP goods. Includes design of tops, dresses, and bottoms for private label and branded consumers.

- Completed Design and Pre-Production Technical Design work on Thirty SKU for in house sleep/lounge collection
- Created & supervised pre-production tech packs for private label lines including woven tops, dresses, and bottoms

Freelance Production Managere

Worked on Diane Gilman denim line for HSN with emphasis on embroidery, graphics, and embellished pieces in denim and woven/knit tops.

- Worked on a team managing thirty different designs, personally responsible for 12 pieces of heavily embellished goods, acting as both the designer and technical designer for the team
- Supported company on temporary basis, it hit goals after one half of company was laid off
- In charge of preproduction tech packs and lead the hand off to the production teams
- Worked extensively with graphics team to create scaled layout of heat set trims, screen prints and embroidery
- Created templates with specific stitch indicators for embroidered goods

Freelance Design

Missy, Juniors and Kids designer for branded denim across off-price and LPP goods with highest adoption rate of new goods monthly across all categories. Demographic includes international markets spanning the United States and Central American Countries.

- In charge of team that managed Juniors, Juniors Plus, Missy, and Kids denim, including over 120 SKU over 6 months
- In charge of wash reviewing for the entire company due to experience and expertise gained from working in premium denim markets
- Worked in PLM Unique to create tech packs, make fit comments and create wash instructions and approvals
- Oversaw two assistant designers to help with the completion of work on both primary and off-price lines
- Managed initial costing on all goods from wash recipe to fabric approval after yardage/meter estimates
- Point of contact for all private label teams to handle issues with the production factories


Denim Designer

Juniors and Young Contemporary designer for Soft Woven tops, bottoms and dresses in private label goods including Stitch Fix, Urban Outfitters, Forever 21, Francesca’s, and Aeropostale. Young Contemporary designer for denim and washed goods for Unpublished Collection, in house brand.

- Managed all denim and washed/dyed goods for over 200 SKU for private label brands like urban Outfitters, Francesca’s, and American Eagle
- Made frequent local wash house visits to develop new washes and techniques to send out for production in overseas factories
- Includes all wash approvals and recipe notes with cost estimates for bulk 
- Managed tech packs from proto to pre-production including leading fit sessions with in house pattern maker
- Oversaw team with one assistant designer and intern, managing line sheet completion for monthly market meetings, tech pack creation, cost sheet hand off to production, with daily touch points to manage workload


Designer

Women’s Denim team. Worked on special projects such as low margin fashion pieces and store exclusives for retailers such as Nordstrom, Bloomingdales and Neiman Marcus.

- Used Blue Cherry to create and manage 15 tech packs for specialty denim exclusives fr Nordstrom, Bloomingdales and Saks 5th Ave
- Created and managed costing for the wash formula for the local wash house
- Worked closely with wash developer to approve washes and create shrinkage per recipe for pattern makers to create first fits
- Responsible for creating cut tickets for domestic and in house sample rooms as well as arranging for sample transport and management


Premium market associate designer specializing in denim washed goods for both men’s and women’s lines. Worked on both full price and off-price teams respectively.

- Created first woven tops collection for women’s off-price market that included Nordstrom Rack, Saks Off 5th and Lord & Taylor
- Responsible for creating cut tickets for in house sample rooms as well as arranging for sample transport and management
- Used Full-Circle to create tech packs for both proto development and pre-production, including system library management of all trims, fabrics and threads
- Managed and organized all samples from proto development to sales sample ordering, including extensive index management of warehouse goods in case of sample reference
- Assisted the technical designer with proto fittings and responsible for creating preliminary fit notes for domestic and foreign factories


Technical designer for Underwear, Bras, Stockings/Tights, Tube Knit Goods, Shapewear, and Cut&Sew Leggings. Worked on both full price and off-price categories from concept to production.

- Responsible for creation of grade rules, building fit comments in PLM and managing production trim sheets
- Managed wear testing for samples, including managing tester feedback and working with R&D regarding the results
- Maintained patterns for cut and sew garments and made corrections for factories using Gerber systems
- Managed fittings spanning all sizes from XS to 2XL and adjusted grade rules and patterns accordingly
