Staff Photographer and Writer, co-owner

Self taught photographer that started my own business 6 years ago. Currently a 20% share holder and one of two primary photographers for a local Santa Barbara magazine. My magazine content is usually lifestyle and travel directed. I personally enjoy shooting a really wide variety of content. I'm inspired by so many things form what I eat, to the most extreme locations around the world. I have a small desire to capture a little bit of everything. 
Goals:
Within this position I would want to expand my preexisting knowledge of photo editing and the outdoor photography industry. 
Bring unique perspective and style to the preexisting staff. 
Grow not only as a photographer but as an individual. 
Learn by observing others, sharing techniques, both receiving and giving input with my peers.

Shoot 3-4 features per month.
Scout locations.
Find inspiration boards for theme and direction of shoot.  
Post process all of my own images as well as assist with processing other photographers images. 
Sort all images.
Receive and carry out photo edits from chief editor.
Review print proof and make final edits.  
Write contracts for all advertising, sponsorship, model releases, etc. 
Write 2-3 features per month.
