Obtain pricing and delivery from vendors.
Monitor schedule and delivery dates of incoming products.
Expedite incoming products for rush products
Inform senior buyer’s and planners of purchased delivery dates.
Obtain and convey information courteously and promptly.
Inform management of area activities and any significant problems or concerns.
Prepare a variety of documents, reports, and records including Returns to Vendor, mis-shipments, expeditors report, and bill backs
Complete miscellaneous purchasing duties as assigned.
Assist purchasing department on as needed basis.
Interact with inventory control and quality control departments with requests for product cycle counts and problem research.


Close sales and negotiated prices, contracts and payments.
Advise customers regarding delivery schedules and after-sales service.
Monitor  competitors’ prices and products.
Attended conferences.
Coordinate functions for company activities.
