Store Representative

I am a recent college graduate with experience in various customer service and retail environments. I am looking to establish myself with a dynamic company in an outdoor industry in a position that would allow me to become an integral part of the company, with opportunities to grow within. 

My academic background is in the Visual Arts which gives me a unique perspective in business and creative problem solving, a flexibility and optimism in learning new skills and approaching difficult tasks, and a strength in collaboration, interpersonal relations, and learning from the many people around me.

This position is in the retail store, and I act as one of the first "faces" of the Museum. I engage with guests about general museum and store inquiries and act to positively uphold the reputation of the museum. I handle general sales and customer service responsibilities from making sales to answering phones, communication via email and through the web store portal. Cash handling, shipping and receiving, visual merchandising, inventory, and communication with other museum departments and staff.

At this position I greeted, communicated to best understand customer ideas and I created quality sketches for customers of varying backgrounds and of all ages.  I ensured guests had a positive experience in the park, while meeting sales goals, working as part of a larger team, and promoting maximum organization and efficiency.

Greet and engage with customers. Inquire about customer's needs in framing or with art supplies and provide successful and creative solutions. Assist with general questions about products and services, meet sales goals, promote organization and cleanliness in store, work as part of a team, and ensure positive customer experience and provide excellent customer service.
