Collection Supervisor

I have worked in the collection industry for the last 12 years. I have obtained experience in changing the collection standards to improve recovery efforts . I have been in a leadership role for the last two years. I love motivating others to accomplish our goals as a company  I want to be in a company that I can go further and grow in and teach my knowledge from my experiences in collections.

This position is very similar to my previous employer collecting large balances for large financial institutions by telephone. Skip tracing and credit report reviewing to enforce judgments for garnishments and levees. I collect for HSBC bank, American General Financial, Springleaf Financial, and Calvary Portfolio Services. As well as collection on auto deficiency loans. I now manage these portfolios with a staff of 20 employees. I audit accounts for productivity, call monitoring for FDCPA/company compliance and quality assurance. As well as various client reporting on our day to day operations. I am included on any decisions that would impact our department in anyway. I also revolutionized our collecting methods by bringing several new skip tracing tools to our office that increased revenue within months.

This position required telephone collections on assigned large portfolios for financial institutions. I collected on judgments and charged off accounts for HSBC Bank, General Electric Finance, and Citibank. As well as auto deficiency loans. It included heavy skip tracing for assets and contact numbers as well as pulling credit reports for review. Following up on every account was a must. I collected over $100,000 a month, 20% more than offices’ average of any other collector.
