Associate product developer

A multifaceted, organized, creative designer & product developer with 3.5+ years in footwear & apparel development.

During this 4 month contract I assisted with the daily operations of  3 teams throughout the week which included: 1 team of three senior product developers and 3 associate developers, another team of three senior product developers, and the color department 
-Participated in fit sessions-organized, track and process fit comments in FileMaker for WebPDM & Tradestone; from protoype stage through TOP of production samples. 
-Revises & reviews raw materials records/information to overseas vendors and design, product line management, and materials teams in WebPDM & Tradestones
-Maintains all records and samples within collections per department and category
-Managed lab dips & binders within the color library
-Ensures technical relevance and product quality/integrity of all products under your realm of responsibilities.
-Assessing samples by measuring at all stages of development to ensure they are in tolerance of the specification pack 

Associate Designer/Product development coordinator (promoted from Design Assistant)
-Reporting to the VP of  design, line developer, and product developer with all aspects of design from concept to final product. 
-Interacted with Marketing, Sales, and Quality Assurance teams to distribute product details and assure the accuracy & integrity of all documented materials during order detail meetings
-Assisted in research of seasonal trends, colors, raw materials, and styling by shopping local markets, international online stores, and StyleSight
-Participated in all conversations from research, concept, development, prototype corrections/fit, design meetings with sales/pricing/production teams.
-Compiled trend reports after the head designer shopped international markets, assisted with line presentation, and other presentations
-Created technical packets and sample requests via SoftShoe and directly sending them to our China development teams.
-Searched images for trend/merchandising board
