At Olympus Alarm, I manage all of our digital marketing and sales functions. 

We have a great product, and we don't feel people should be pressured or duped into buying a home security system.

At Sisel, I managed the day to day business operations for the company including all of our international markets. This included the traditional operational functions of supply chain management, production, and logistics. My team also handled all of the international development, IT systems localization, and regulatory affairs / product registration duties throughout the company. We worked hand in hand with IT, marketing and sales to develop programs and drive campaigns towards increasing sales.

I also had the opportunity to work hand in hand on product development as a key member of the R&D team. Specifically I would give input on ingredients and formulas destined for specific international markets to ensure compliance and speed to market. 

Working with some of the best minds in the nutritional supplement industry was a great learning experience and I loved the constant challenge.

Director of Operations and Regulatory Affairs

As Director of international business development I did everything from design and implement the business plan for each market to setting up the operational infrastructure, as well as the legal and financial framework. I enjoy the challenge of international business and development, particularly working with different cultures and seeing firsthand how businessmen and women conduct commerce internationally. Sales in Japan is different than sales in Thailand, and this contrasts dramatically to sales in Europe. I love this stuff!

At Sisel and Beluga, we had a very fast-paced international development cycle, and managing all the different projects and cross-functional teams was quite the experience. I had great people to work with in the US, and was fortunate enough to be able to hire and bring on some amazing local talent as well.

Director of International Business Development and Regulatory Affairs

International Product Registration and Regulatory compliance. Sounds vague and ominous... I basically made sure that the product we manufactured or designed met with all applicable regulations and standards so that we could export and import into a specific market. This includes dietary supplements, foods, and cosmetics and personal care items like shampoos and lotions. I also ensured from a marketing and sales standpoint that all the necessary labeling and marketing information was not only translated, but also compliant, according to the local laws and practices.

My experience in Regulatory Affairs gave me solid foundation in overall product development and project management. Being so intimately involved in every aspect of a new product's lifecycle was awesome!

International Regulatory Affairs Manager

Associate Manager Regulatory Affairs / Marketing Logistics

Inventory Control for the gardening and building materials department. Conduct periodic cycle counts, order out of stock items and adjust demand based on seasonal trends and sales.

I did it backwards... I started out as a linguist in Military Intelligence, and then switched over to the Infantry because that was where all the action was. I loved being a grunt.
