Assistant Boutique Manager

I currently am a full-time student and part-time manager in retail working my way through college to earn my Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. I have at least 6-7 years of retail experience ranging from entry-level to assistant manager positions. I have a passion for visuals and merchandising and when I'm finished school my overall goal is to work hands-on within a visual department of any major retail company doing what I love.

Currently acting-store manager for about 2 months. Responsible for coaching and developing a team of about 6. Processing shipment daily, and use my creativity through window and mannequins displays throughout the store.

I am responsible to drive sales through customer engagement and service. I open and close the store when scheduled. I also take part in processing shipment when it is delivered. Along with managerial duties, I am responsible for the planning, mapping, and organization of bi-weekly floorsets, in which we prepare new merchandise for the sales floors and rearrange the current layout with company expectations.

Sales Leader

Provided exceptional customer service and lead a team of at least 15 sales associates in a well-known, youth-oriented retail store averaging $1.1 million per year. Executed frequent floor-sets and the specialization and completion of all visual displays throughout the store. Managed operations of the store, creating weekly schedules and strategizing itineraries for each day. Handled cash and monitored registers according to loss prevention guidelines and expectations. Maintained position as Sales Leader for 1 year, promoted to Assistant Manager and held position for 2 years


Assistant Manager

Provided excellent customer service with all customers and worked with a team of at least 15 people. Helped my team, led by a manager, in the aide of overnight floor-sets adhering to company expectations. Developed cash-handling skills through managing registers and verifying nightly deposits. Processed all shipment incomes and focused on the organization and standardization of the stockroom. Started as Sales Associates for 1 year and moved positions to Floor-set Associate for 1 year
