Shop Manager

I have worked at Active Ride Shop since 2008. I was able to move up from a sales associate to a retail store manager during my time here. I also have my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies from Cal State Fullerton (2013). I would love to stay in the skate industry and utilize my skills learned here at Active and progress.

•	Responsible for maximizing profitability by meeting sales goals, maintaining inventory and controlling costs such as payroll
•	Upholds Active’s values and policies and relates it back to the sales team
•	Helps train the assistant, key holders and sales team by focusing on teamwork, communication and organization
•	Helps maintain a beautifully displayed shop by merchandising, cleaning, and constant organization
•	Improves the performance and progression of the staff by conducting semi-annual reviews and daily feedback
•	Conducts accurate opening, mid day and closing procedures according to Active’s policies
•	Manages payroll, schedules and all paperwork related to hiring and terminations as well as other employee issues. Also helps recruit and train new staff 
•	Up to date on all computer systems such as POS and DAX.
•	Attends all meetings for managers 
•	Exemplifies the highest form of customer service
•	Volunteers at most of the Active events such as demos, clinics and signings
