Event Planning Intern

I am a recent graduate from California State University, Fullerton. I am interested in pursuing careers in PR, Communications/Development. With my given skill set, I will be successful in any career path that I choose. I am looking for a full time position with a PR/Marketing firm. I am a dedicated, hard working, goal oriented individual.

- Create floorpans for clients events
- Work along side the Event Planners to help coordinate an event weekly
- Secure vendors for clients who want outside catering, decorations, AV equipment, etc. 
- Work with CRM in order to keep track of sales and events

- Performed sales calls on a daily basis to past and future clients 
-Generate floor plans for clients through Visio
-Plan and execute successful events, as a result creating lasting relationships with clients

Event Specialist / Sales

- Helped plan and coordinate events / organized auction items for fundraising events 
- Generated press releases for the Child Abuse Prevention center about upcoming events
- Analyzed / wrote success stories from the Child Abuse Prevention Center to be posted monthly on our social media sites 
- Assembled press kits for distribution to our sponsors
- Completed various media scans to gain insight into the success of press for the Child Abuse Prevention Center

Development Intern

- Worked toward both personal and team sales goals to complete on a monthly basis
- Provided excellent customer service to consumers 
- Worked directly with customers in the store to constitute overall customer satisfaction
- Generated nightly reports to keep track of sales for that day

Sales Associate

- Taught children both responsibility and commitment 
- Worked with each player individually to increase their skill set and understanding of the sport
- Created an atmosphere of both comfortability and competitiveness through pushing the girls to be the best that they could be
