Sleepwear Children’s Art Merchandiser

Worked closely with the sales team to develop original pet bed collections for private label. Merchandised unique color palettes that enhanced my original textile designs for pet beds, fabrics, construction, and trims. Kept current on the trending market in order to design creative products that fit the needs of the growing pet bed industry while maintaining a low manufacturing cost.

Soft Goods Product Designer

Lead designer for Ranchwear and Sporting Goods. Designed outerwear as well as lifestyle collections for Kid’s, Ladies, and Men’s. Created original patterns using Kaledo Weave and prints using a combination of hand illustration mixed with computer aided software to design original artwork for fabrics and graphics. Successfully managed an assistant designer and product managers to effectively make sample prototypes for spec as well as production. Lead market research to understand the needs of the sporting goods consumer in order to create products that fit the multiple needs and uses for hunting apparel.

HARD HOME

Successfully established and coordinated a graphic support team for the Hard Home division. Created and maintained an inspirational art library for the industrial designers to utilize for new product development. Compiled market research and made inspirational trend boards for each season and brand based on the trend research discovered from following fashion, streetwear, reading blogs, competitive shopping, and vintage print houses as well as salvage renovations. Created original artwork using a mixture of mixed media involving hand illustration skills combined with computer aided design software.
