Accounts Payable Accountant

•Oversee the Corporate Card Program Including the Expense Travel & Expense for US, Canada, Chile, Mexico and Brazil in Oracle. 
•Reviewing expense reports and invoices and ensuring accurate coding, approval and documentation support prior to processing.

•Reconcile bank timely and accurately accounts, maintain appropriate supports, as needed, research variances and recommend adjusting entries.
•Main backup for any accounts payable clerks run full-cycle AP operations including vendor relations, 2- and 3-way invoice matching, invoice processing, payments, vendor master data, and reconciliations.  


•	Responsible for accounts payable coding, data entry, check runs, filing, mailing and related responsibilities.
•	Responsible for creating, entering and maintaining appropriate support for all accounts payable files, and answer all vendor inquiries.
•	Responsible for timely and accurately reconcile bank accounts, maintain appropriate supports, as needed, research variances and recommend adjusting entries.
•	Process daily online journal entries for the Accounting/Finance department.

Responsible for the reconciliation of many general ledger asset and liability accounts.
Monitor the accuracy and reasonableness of financial data provided by other Dept.
Work with analysts in Treasury, Payroll, Billing, Accounts Payable, Travel, and Benefits Departments correcting errors posted to General Ledger accounts.
Monitor resolution of data problems and provide timely reporting to management and meet performance goals.
Lead in Bank reconciliation process and identify process improvement opportunity.

Accountant

Ensure the generation of bills, posting of payments, and general customer account maintenance.
Responsible for 11 fully staffed communities. Work with communities to ensure timely notices of rent renewal/increase.  
Post daily cash receipts and enter payment credits. Create charges for late month move-ins in the current and following month. Maintain customer accounts by making credits or adjustments as necessary.  
Audit monthly base rents and level of care charges including incidental charges before invoicing. Reconcile AR aging with GL AR balances at month end closing. Prepare retro-billing. 
Reconcile monthly total deposits. Run AR aging reports for distribution to the community and assist the Executive Director in bringing AR balance at 5% of revenues or below. 
Analyze resident AR accounts. Reconciles census between Billing & Marketing rosters weekly and at month end. Perform other duties as assigned.
