Manufacturing Engineer

To obtain a job with an outdoor company that uses my skills as an engineer as well as motivates me to be outdoors.

-Take basic design and analyze models for Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA), tool designs, create standard work, drawing reviews and drawing changes.

-Create Routings and edit BOM's to ensure total accuracy in a product.

-Design and create tools and shop aids incorporating critical 3D features to aid in the production and quality of the seat shells using Catia V5

-Created Quality Document which is used across entire facility to track and record defects and rework of seat shells

-Extensive drawing and model design reviews during the initial start of a program in order to optimize DFMA and reduce future issues

-Interact with customers during FAI’s and address issues raised by customers, specifically setting quality standards and instructions on how to perform product installation

-Extremely hands on during program build prior to FAI in order to set assembly instructions for all components and provide design improvements
