Industrialization Program Manager

I am a self driven individual who is always interested in learning something new.  I enjoy working in team environments and leading projects and teams that focus on critical thinking and a systematic approach to effective solutions.

Manage the Industrialization of 5 programs concurrently from program kickoff through full production including

• Tooling development for composite structures and plastic components
• DFMA of product from detail part to final assembly for 1,000+ part assemblies
• Development of BOM and BOM structure
• Coordination of engineering, industrialization, and tooling to meet deadlines and quality criteria

As a lead manufacturing engineer for Zodiac Aerospace I led a team of three manufacturing engineers in the development of a production line that produced units that included 220 hours of labor and were produced at a rate of 6 a day.  

• Utilized risk analysis with the program team to assess the major risks to production during production startup.
• Used Lean tools including Kaizens, visual management, kanbans, KPI's, and standard work to address and mitigate the risks.  
• Designed and implemented line for production
• Developed stockroom for all CNC composite panels needed for all production lines
• Led implementation of standard work, one piece flow, and quality standards
• Presented monthly on four major KPI's, On Time Delivery, Safety, Quality, and Cost to all other value streams and senior management
• Responsible for training and mentoring new manufacturing engineers on the team

Lead Manufacturing Engineer

As a manufacturing engineer at Zodiac Aerospace I worked on the Delta 747 team to implement lean systems and provide production support throughout all processes on the 747 production line. 

• Implemented visual management throughout area I was directly responsible for
• Analyzed NCR process and developed Excel tool to identify bottlenecks so that production downtime could be mitigated 
• Developed visual management tool to track parts through prep area taking missing parts from 30 parts per shipset to under 5

Manufacturing Engineer

As an engineering intern at Exploration Sciences I helped to design and build a 1/6th scale model of the James Webb Space Telescope through the use of public information, the Alibre solid modeling program, and tabletop CNC milling machines.
