FINANCE/ACCOUNTING MANAGER

•	Responsible for all general ledger work including journal entries, month end close, and financial statement preparation

•	Review assigned general ledger accounts and reconciliations on a monthly basis, ensuring accurate coding of all sales and use tax, payroll and State income tax provision. 
•	Accumulate, analyze and process financial accounting data in order to prepare sales and use tax returns
•	Facilitate the embedding of standard finance processes/systems as they relate to sales and use tax
•	Prepare monthly, quarterly tax accrual working papers and periodic tax rate forecasts, including interaction with financial statement external auditors
•	Provide support and assistance during federal, provincial, and corporate tax audits including interaction with tax authorities
•	Handled all IRS, State or Local issues with regards to current or past tax returns, quarterly returns or sales tax and executed powers of attorney for any client issues business or personal.

•	Maintains a general ledger according to an approved chart of accounts by posting entries, making adjusted entries, performing the daily computer entry functions associated with those ledgers and preparing financial statements from those ledgers.
