Emily Sedillo received her Associate’s Science Degree in Business Administration at Crafton Hills College. She is currently a senior undergrad at California State University of Monterey Bay, majoring in International Management. Her early career has bridged into a variety of environments and activities, which include being a supervisor at a camp, a Barista at several coffee shops, a host at two restaurants, and her most recent position, a food runner at the Cannery Row Brewing Company. Her first job was a barista at Thousand Pines Christian Camp, where she was then promoted to a supervisor position. For four years she handled inventory, marketing, and scheduling. She then began work at a restaurant called The Counter, located in Irvine, CA., which acted as a learning tool into the restaurant environment. She has held two positions at her current job, the Cannery Row Brewing Company, located in Monterey CA. She began as a host where she was exposed to typical host duties and handling customer service issues. Her current position at the company consists of being a food runner. She ensures that all orders are correct and presentable, delivers food with consistency, and helps oversee kitchen activity. Emily's completed studies include creating a detailed marketing plan, expanding brand awareness into other countries, identifying the wants and needs of a specific demographic, creating new business opportunities, and dealing with various organizational behaviors, both internally and externally. Emily has the ability to lead and maintain an enthusiastic staff and possesses both productive and competent working habits. She is self-motivated and customer service focused, as well as being comfortable with speaking to, and interacting with, the public.
