Parkcenter Kid's Club

I am currently a Senior, studying at Boise State University to get my BA in Communication with a Public Relations Emphasis, and a Leadership Studies Minor. I am seeking a career opportunity, which will allow me to showcase my strengths in communication and leadership, and gain hands on experience. Ultimate goal is to obtain future employment in event planning, public relations, or related communication fields.

Display excellent people skills. Work with new incoming members and their children. Good computer skills- checking in families and signing up new memberships. Interact and create relationships with parents and their children. Organize employee files, and time sheets.

Part of Public Relations team that ran a campaign to educate Idaho about the "Wishes in Flight" program which allows flyer miles to be donated to Make-A-Wish.

Public Relations

A two month internship assisting in the planning and coordinating of wedding events at the Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California. During this internship, I demonstrated interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills, and formed relationships with clients. I also assisted with the set up of ceremony and reception decorations, and the design and manufacturing of invitations, save the dates, name cards, flower arrangements, place settings, and more.

Assistant Wedding Coordinator

Was invested in multiple positions. Flexible work hours, fast learning skills, and dedication allowed me to work wherever I was needed. Taught classes, helped customers, answered questions, and made positive relationships with all members.
