Branch Manager

Effective Sales and Business Manager with diverse experience

•	Lead a team of Equipment and Supply Salespeople, Service Technicians, Installers and Admin staff serving dentists and medical facilities throughout Alaska. 
•	Co-travel with Account Managers and Equipment Specialists and provide field coaching, resulting in signing the largest account in the branch and increasing sales for a new AM by over $200,000 per year for 4 consecutive years.
•	Personally involved in presenting and managing complex sales of over $1 million to key accounts, including construction projects, 3D CT and CAD/CAM networked systems, and large account purchase agreements.  Required high level negotiation skills, critical thinking and effective decision making.
•	Increased sales from $6.2 million to $9.89 million in two years, highest market penetration in the company in the smallest market in the company.
•	Increased profit from ($11,000) to over $365,000 in 14 months, highest profit growth in the company.
•	Received 8 sales and project management awards for the branch 

•	Principal and owner of a sales training and business development consulting company.  Created customized account management, sales training, field coaching and sales system implementation programs for clients in a variety of industries.  Worked directly with C-Level executives, owners and managers.
•	Created and implemented a training and development program for Brasseler USA Dental/Medical.   Acted as their Training Manager on a contract basis for four years. Created and implemented training programs including new (technical) product launches, high performance team training, sales, inside sales and customer service.   Conducted hundreds of business development co-travel sales calls. 
•	Frequently contracted as the Sales Manager for clients on a “temp” basis.  Several contracts lasted for 4-6 years.  Sales Manager for a Helicopter sales and refurbishing company, selling internationally to corporations and high net worth individuals in a very complex and customized sales environment. 

Principal and Owner

•	Turned around the operation that was losing $500,000 per year on $4 million in sales to netting $3.5 million on $7.8 million in sales for this group of four radio stations in East Tennessee.  Accomplished this while competing with the #1 mid-market station in the country.
•	Led the team of 15 Salespeople and 2 Sales Managers through the media downfall after the 9/11 attacks.  Media sales nationwide dropped 20%; our operation grew 22% during that year.  
•	Asked to be the company’s internal sales management coach.  Traveled to multiple locations and coached sales managers, general managers and sales people on complex sales and customer focused selling.
•	Managed the largest event in the Southeast US, Boomsday.  Produced a profit from the event for the first time ever through creative marketing, targeting the unique interests of the population of East Tennessee and selling packages to support that marketing.


Director of Sales 

•	Started a successful Business Development and Sales Training consultancy.  Sales Manager on a “temp” basis for several clients.  Conducted numerous training and development programs for companies in Equipment Sales, Media, Hi Tech, Non-Profit, and Construction.  Worked directly with C-Level executives, owners and managers.
•	Provided training and expertise in national/international product launches, new product rollouts, distribution channels and new market penetration. Clients included a construction equipment rental company, digital media providers, computer resellers/network installers, service providers and others.  


•	Sales Manager for three different product lines in three years.  Achieved 155% of quota in the highest priced product line, 140% of quota for the second and 135% for the third product line.  
•	Created, implemented and presented training in sales, customer service, new product launches and major account management.  Company sales grew from $15 million to $31 million during my tenure, and turnover was reduced by over 50%.
•	Managed the sales team (inside and outside) for a test and measurement company.  The staff consisted of independent and company reps. Exceeded goals in all quarters.
