To Whom it May Concern, Currently I am the Women's and Accessories Manager at the Ralph Lauren Hybrid Flagship in West Hollywood. My family however will be relocating to Orange County in the near future and it is for this reason that I am seeking a new opportunity. My professional background has equipped me with solid practical skills combined with a deep understanding of the retail and luxury industries. I have over fourteen years of management and merchandising experience. I have been responsible for most aspects of the retail business and personally managed $16M stores and departments in both luxury soft and hard lines. I also have multi-unit experience. As the California Sales and Merchandising Manager for RABEANCO, I opened all 3 US locations and was responsible for leading the teams to drive sales through relationship selling. I created the visual merchandising concepts and executed them in-store while training the teams to maintain the standards and aesthetics based on sell-thru and new receipts. I created the promotional schedule, contributed to the company's Global social media efforts and was also the liaison between the US stores and the owners in Hong Kong, to whom I reported directly to. I managed all operational functions including vendor relations, property management, contractors, marketing relations and in-store event planning. The experience I gained from my role with RABEANCO was vast! I traveled between the Beverly Hills, Valley Fair and Santa Anita locations on a regular basis. Specifically in Beverly Hills, I planned private shopping events for top clients and their friends/colleagues, The Gersh Agency and The Beverly Hills Woman's Club to name a few. I attended the Chamber of Commerce's Networking events and spoke to the attendees during the open forums. I also built relationships with the Beverly Hills Conference and Visitors Center, LA-based Publications and local Hotel Marketing Managers and Concierges. I am also very proud of my growth and accomplishments during my five years with Bloomingdales as the RTW Sales Manager in their West Coast Flagship in Century City. I was responsible for growing many of my vendor's businesses into the #1 spot in the Company and in the Los Angeles or West Coast Markets. People development was a top priority for me and led to tremendous client sales results for my department. I have extensive experience in building and coaching teams of sales professionals focused on driving sales through clienteling by building strong relationships. I am also known for my strong communication and operational skills, articulating merchandise opportunities and assortment needs to a corporate office, buying office, Merchandise Manager and/or Owner.
