Purchasing Manager

I have worked in a factory that manufactures furniture for 10+ years. Growing my responsibilities over the years I am currently in charge of many aspects of the factory itself; safety, upkeep, cleanliness and general upkeep to name a few things. I escort a number of personnel who are required to view the factory floor; fire marshals during semi-annual inspections to monthly visits from worker's comp people to make sure we are not failing to follow any rules that may harm us in the future. 

On top of those types of task, I've run the stocking, labeling and general logistics of all inventory. From dealing with overseas vendors to the long beach ports to the factory floor; keeping things organized the whole way. 
Also looking over production in a number of way, I've grown my team to include production line assemblers that get their production schedules from me, to being the "go-to" for daily quality questions whenever they arise, typically being the deciding factory if an order can ship
