Dance Instructor

Acts as a liaison between front office, sales, and catering  to coordinate group bookings and services. Manages group rooming blocks in property management system and through internal and external booking channels. Assists with training and support for reservation team.   Sent out daily, weekly and monthly reports from group pick up to inbound reservation numbers.
Monitor and analyze rooms inventory this includes monitoring of group blocks, determining cut off dates, and rate restrictions.
Process and handle group rooming lists, reservations, and associate reservations requests by inputting data into the reservations system.
Calculate and prepare rooms reports to determine sources of business using various computer systems.
Set up billing patterns, attached special services codes to group reservations.


Instruct hip hop, ages 5 to 12 with class size of four to twelve children.  Assisted in the marketing and advertising, as well as coordinate and produce annual showcases. 

Dance Teacher

Main priority is coordinating group room blocks at property with 372 rooms, 22 meeting rooms and 16,000 event space.  Communicate with group contacts, Conference Service Supervisors and Sales Managers as it relates to cut-off dates, inventory concerns, availability, suite assignments, arrival times, VIP's, rooming list, and pick-up reports. Accurately input all rooming lists and reservations in a timely and efficient manner. With the support of the Conference Service Supervisors and Corporate audit, will assure billing is set up for group/event.
 Maintain and distribute a weekly pick up report to the yield group. Produce cut-off reports on a weekly basis. Understand and respond to all group guests needs in a professional and effective manner. Perform routine audits to ensure accuracy of group rooms in CI/TY and Marsha.

Leisure Group Coordinator

Process all guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change/late check-out requests. Secure payment; activate/reissue room keys. Ensure rates match market codes, document exceptions. Verify/adjust billing for guests. 
Communicate to appropriate staff when guests are waiting for an available room.  Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room status and guest concerns.
 Run and check daily reports, contingency lists, and credit card authorization reports. Supply guests with directions and information. Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns; follow up to ensure each has been met to guests' satisfaction. Arrange transportation for guests/visitors. 
Count and secure bank at beginning and end of shift. Cash guests' checks, process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, charges, and provide change.
