Associate Manager Programming at ESPN

Job description continued from below with larger role in content strategy, marketing and social media

•	Oversee construction and maintenance of ESPN’s X Games and Action Sports program schedules across ESPN’s television networks and digital/mobile platforms. 
•	Research and prepare background/P&L reports/presentations to support scheduling strategies, strategic acquisitions, and contract negotiations for maximizing viewership and revenue on ESPN’s linear networks and digital platforms 
•	Coordinate with Social Media, Marketing and Production to forge, implement and measure the success of effective social media strategies for assigned sports
•	Communicate with Sales, Marketing and Production teams to confirm broadcasts within assigned sport category meet contract requirements 
•	Develop innovative ideas to continue the growth of ESPN’s business – create separation in sports broadcast media marketplace

Programming Content Coordinator

•	Responsible for designing, ordering and distributing all pre-event marketing material and collateral for X Games Aspen and Los Angeles 2013
•	Oversaw and executed all X Games Los Angeles pre-event promotional events which included US Open of Surfing, Angels games, Vans Warped Tour
•	Managed two summer interns for X Games Los Angeles at pre-event promotion and in our Los Angeles office, helping them learn the action sports event business
•	Oversaw and managed all youth outreach for X Games Aspen, Brazil, and Los Angeles Kids’ Day which involved around 1000 inner-city kids coming out to X Games for one day of the event
•	Worked closely with our Creative Service team to create campaign to promote X Games Los Angeles ranging from web banners, print materials and billboards.
•	Worked with our local radio partners and affiliate team to manage all pre-event radio promotions 
•	Oversaw all local relationships with event sponsors which included Ford and Red Bull 
•	Worked closely with our PR 

Marketing Coordinator

•	Responsible for selling individual, group tickets, multi game packages or entertainment plans to all events hosted by AEG
•	Build relationships with new and existing clients and ensure they receive the best entertainment experiences at all AEG venues

Inside Sales Representative

•	Coordinate and help staff with pre-event promotions with new and existing partners
•	Assist staff by delivering marketing materials, promotional packages, ticket giveaways
•	Coordinate and assist in execution of having 3,000+ kids out for Kid’s Day during the event
•	Form new relationships/partnerships with vendors in order to help promote the event

X Games Marketing Assistant

•	Responsible to set up and breakdown sporting, live broadcast and promotional events on a 
   weekly basis; Communicate with on-site coordinator for event details
