Ted began his sales career in 1989 as a showroom salesperson for a Chrysler Jeep/Eagle dealership in Derby CT. He quickly became one of the strongest salespeople in the NE district, ranking 23rd out of 500+. In 1990 he joined Eder Brothers Inc., a wine and spirits wholesaler in West Haven CT. Within 3 years he turned around an underdeveloped territory- earning him a promotion to regional sales manager. The first of many promotions to follow. After 10 years of continued leadership progression, growth and achievement, Ted was recruited out of Eder Brothers by a global toy/educational manufacture, Melissa & Doug LLC. In his new role he continued his significant contributions and upward career track as a national sales executive opening new channels and chain accounts in consumer markets throughout the U.S. In 2005 Ted was recruited to a start-up medical device company, Z-Medica. As VP of Sales for Z-Medica Ted built a hybrid sales force that included direct, independent. and distributor sales reps that cover the entire US. Z-Medica manufactures hemostatic agents for many verticals within hospital/acute care including surgical wounds, interventional procedures, orthopedic, cosmetic, woundcare & burn, trauma, ENT, dermatology, DOD, emergency med, dental, animal health and consumer. In Sept of 2013 Ted was once again recruited into another exciting start-up med dev company leading all sales and marketing efforts. ZetrOZ was launching its soon to be FDA cleared portable wearable ultrasound device. Ted is now a VP at by Greenleaf Energy Solutions, a national energy/lighting solution company that focuses on large customers within healthcare, commercial and educational markets, creating significant cost and energy savings while reducing carbon footprints and helping partners achieve their sustainable goals.
