•	Identified, negotiated, and secured all marketing opportunities and agreements in the softball category.  Coordinated integrated marketing timelines and calendars for category.
•	Maintained close relationships with consumer groups and worked closely with marketing teams to identify influencers and stay current on market trends.

Marketing Consultant

•	Distributed Team Express, Inc.’s product catalogs at tournaments, clinics, trade shows, conventions, and other grassroots venues soliciting to consumers on behalf of Team Express, Inc.
•	Provided Team Express, Inc. prospect mailing lists, email, and contact lists for catalog and mailing distribution as well as Internet offers/promotions.
•	Worked with Team Express to develop web links from softball organizations to Team Express key websites.
•	Coordinated and executed grassroots sales activities (planning, prospecting, sales presentations, product demonstrations, closing, and service follow-up) at softball tournaments, clinics, trade shows, conventions, and other softball venues for Team Express, Inc. 
•	Participated in semi-annual meetings at Team Express, Inc.’s headquarters in San Antonio, TX to establish new business development goals for women’s softball, developed grassroots marketing plans, strategized women’s product assortments and sales programs.

Independent Consultant

•	Managed all marketing, promotions, and product development for the female fastpitch division at Louisville Slugger ($14 million dollar division).
•	Responsible for implementing marketing strategies aimed at increasing market share.
•	Gathered necessary marketing research for the TPS Division of Louisville Slugger.
•	Negotiated and maintained all contractual agreements with athletes, coaches, and associations.
•	Serviced equipment needs for 42 collegiate institutions.
•	Responsible for all advisory staff contractual payments and stipends including royalties and bonuses.
•	Initiated advertising and marketing strategies for product positioning within the Louisville Slugger division.
•	Created the “Do You Have the Power to Dream?” ad campaign for 2000 TPS Olympians (softball).
•	Marketed and promoted TPS Olympic Athletes Lisa Fernandez, Dot Richardson, Laura Berg, and Michelle Venturella, and Jessica Mendoza.
•	Produced 30-second spot for ad campaign (2000 and 2001) – Aired on ESPN2.

Director of Product Development and Promotions

•	Assisted with the promotion of the NIKE P.L.A.Y. Program.
•	Organized and participated camps, clinics, and speaking engagements for children throughout the country.
•	Keynote speaker at various Nike retail stores, camps, and athletic competitions.

•	Responsible for the overall management, staffing, and motivation of the sales staff.
•	Assisted with the daily operations of the store.

•	Designed and operated private business that conducts camps, clinics, seminars and other special events.
•	Administered entire marketing and promotion strategy directed at national and local sponsorship.
•	Coordinated special events and projects designed to meet the corporate philosophies of major sponsors.  Obtained sponsorship from Nike and Louisville Slugger.
•	Designed national clinic program for young athletes emphasizing positive motivation techniques and skills. Co-sponsored by Nike.
•	Head clinician/instructor at all softball camps.


Director and Owner

•	Developed and administered various special events, camps, clinics, and programs targeting female athletes of all ages. Head clinician/instructor at all camps and clinics.
•	Created the fastpitch category and built the initial marketing plan.
•	Implemented a unique women’s softball program comprised of clinicians and elite athletes to compete at the national level and participate with special events for the company. Coached, participated, and managed this team during a successful five month tour throughout the country.
•	Worked in all aspects of the marketing and promotions directed at women’s sports.
•	Assisted and initiated various marketing programs, ideas and projects for major sponsors Nike, Russell Athletic, Louisville Slugger, and Wilson.
