Loss Prevention Detective

My goal is to attain a position where my leadership and personal skills gained from past and present positions in Shortage Control Departments, and the Military experience, can be utilized to the fullest extent

•	Identify, observe, and apprehend individual(s) for committing external theft(s), which include shoplifting, ticket switching, refund fraud, and credit card fraud, and gift card fraud.

•	Knowledgeable on state laws and statutes as related to the criminal activity and apprehensions (all external theft case types).

•	Partners with stores team in the development and execution of shortage plans and awareness programs.

•	Effectively handle multiple tasks and projects through completion while demonstrating the ability to communicate findings accurately. 


•	Assess inventory audits, shortage awareness, and thorough understanding of Loss Prevention while implementing, monitoring, and managing store operations.
•	Manage and monitor internal and external case productivity and recoveries; conduct investigations when necessary.
•	Present excellent customer service and create a positive shopping environment.
•	Provide assistance to associates working on a variety of equipment and heavy merchandise.

Loss Prevention Associate

•	Prevent theft within the store from internal or external shoplifters by recovering 35% of all goods taken from the store.
•	Apprehend and deter suspected shoplifters within company policies by consistently monitoring of various departments.
•	Document incidents and audits through Microsoft Office Programs.
•	Train Loss Prevention associates in best techniques to elevate the performance of the store by enforcing store policies and procedures.

•	Trained to handle crowd control and all manners of hostile situations.
•	Certified, and operated MRAP COUGAR CAT I/II vehicle as lead vehicle driver deployed over seas.
•	Trained as a Company Level Intelligence Cell Marine (CLIC Marine), organizing and combining outside information to create supportable facts. 
•	Versed in base and field-oriented communication using wide-range of mediums, including GBOSS(Ground Base Operational Surveillance System).
