I am a photographer and photo editor specializing in editorial work and portraiture. I currently work as a Photo Assistant for three Seattle-area magazines. I graduated from the University of Missouri's Journalism School in 2014 with Bachelor of Journalism, emphasis in photojournalism, and a passion for visual storytelling. During my time at MU I gained both practical as well as academic knowledge of photojournalistic practices. I thrived through the rigors of the Reynolds Journalism School's on-campus classes as well as abroad in Leipzig, Germany where I extended my journalistic eduction through classes Universität Leipzig. Practically, I worked at the local newspaper, The Columbia Missourian as a reporter, staff photographer and photo editor and travelled to Beijing, China, to provide news coverage for the China Open tennis tournament in Fall of 2013. Aside from photography and photojournalism, my passions include: spectating soccer, reading, my dogs, and any food item that features melted cheese.
