I recently graduated from the University of Oregon in March 2015 with a degree in public relations and a minor in Spanish. I am outgoing, hard-working, enthusiastic and compatible with everyone. This past year, I have had two marketing and public relations internships with agencies from Eugene, Oregon -- Funk/Levis & Associates and Vox Public Relations Public Affairs. In addition, I was an account executive at Allen Hall Public Relations and worked closely with the nonprofit organization, The Friendship Foundation for International Students. Throughout my year at the UO, I have participated and held positions with various clubs like UOPRSSA, Toastmasters International, and Envision (a student-run environmental magazine at the UO). When I'm not in school or participating in extracurricular activities, I enjoy spending time in the outdoors hiking or skiing; I also love to travel. I was born and raised in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and my mother is from Chile enabling me to posses citizenship and spend a lot of time there while I was growing up. My passions and experiences abroad have prompted me to strive in getting a job in public relations or marketing that works closely with the outdoor, mountain and travel industries. After graduating in March, I plan to spend three months in Chile before moving to Utah where I plan to begin my career.
