Madeline Hanley is a senior pursuing bachelors in Fashion Design and East Asian Language and Culture with a concentration in Accelerated Chinese. Maddie has lived in the U.S., Japan, France, Hong Kong, and China. Having grown up moving between Asia and the West, she has always been fascinated by the contrast and combination of Oriental and Occidental aesthetics. As a marathon runner, cyclist in IU's iconic Little 500 race, and triathlete, she is passionate about performance sportswear design. Maddie aspires to use her foreign language and apparel design skills in union with her first-hand knowledge of what athletes need out of their gear to design in the US or abroad.
