First Assistant Manager

Sara Cantrell is an editorial, portrait, and fine art photographer.  Her mission is to create unique images through story-telling and unique lighting.

• Leading and teaching a team of 8 women to become empowered sales associates
• Interviewing and hiring individuals to join the Maurice's team
• Striving to provide a high level of customer satisfaction by providing solutions to 
 customer’s needs. 
• Building long-term relationships with customers. 
• Maintaining current knowledge of trends and products.
• Assisting store manager in recruiting and hiring efforts by anticipating future 
 staffing needs and interviewing and selecting quality candidates. 
• Training and coaching new employees. 
• Opening and closing the store according to store guidelines. 
• Delegating tasks to other associates. 
• Managing the store's inventory.
• Filling out weekly schedules. 
• Substituting as store manager when needed.

•Managing advertising for the business
•Setting up appointments.
•Photographing on-location portraits.
•Retouching images through programs such as Lightroom and Photoshop. 
•Engaging with clients in consolations prior to the photo shoot. 
•Communicating with the client after they have received their product to ensure that all needs were met and a loyal customer was made.

Photographer/Owner

•Guiding a team of up to six photographers and sales associates with which client they will assist next.  
•Coaching team members to build higher sales. 
• Photographing and select the best photos to show customer at a very quick pace. 
• Use of editing software to remove skin blemishes, soften wrinkles, etc.  
•Ensuring that each customer had a satisfying experience with their photographer or salesman.
•Opening and closing the studio.

Studio Assistant Manager

•Following the daily routine left behind by the teacher.
•Managing the behavior of the classroom.
•Grading assignments.

Substitute Teacher
