Freelance Graphic Design

Since I had left One Industries in 2012 I continued to do various freelance projects for them. In June of 2015 I decided to go back full time as an independent contractor where I was able to really take the 661 brand to the next level by developing the full 2017 line of gear, gloves, helmets, shoes and apparel. I was able to work very closely with the product developer and the factory’s to make sure the designs were executed properly and looked the way they should. I also was tasked with the job of re-branding the 661 logo where I developed the 661 numeric logo.

Product Graphic Designer / Marketing

Various design jobs including contract work for Cobra Puma Golf, Dragon, One Industries and other San Diego businesses. Accomplishments include color ways and prints for action sports eye- wear, apparel designs, artwork for snow and motocross goggles, tech-packing for apparel and accessories, as well as logo creation and corporate system identities.

Responsibilities include design and production of accessories for key clients of The Wheat Group. In this position I work directly with client to interpret ideas into design and production of products. Key skills needed for this position are good communication skills, flexibility and the ability to see a project through from start to finish.

Senior Graphic Designer

Early design responsibilities at One Industries included producing all t-shirt graphics for each season.  is started with developing color stories, graphic categories, and developing the art for the shirts. I created detailed tech-packs and worked directly with the developers and the vendors to assure the product came out looking like how I envisioned it. My responsibilities grew to include other cut-n-sew pieces and hat design. In my expanded role, I was also able to design and tech-pack race wear for One Moto and also for One Bike. By tech-packing the race wear in addition to designing it, I was able to demonstrate the full value of my designs to the organization. As I progressed with One Industries, I was given the responsibility of oversight and design of all bike graphics.  is included a large amount of coordination with di erent race teams in order to deliver the desired result, including the placement of all the sponsors.

Product Designer

Graphic Design responsibilities for Soup’s clients including Disney, Nike, Mattel, Alpinestars, Maxis Tires, Hasbro, etc. Developed marketing concepts and strategies and followed them through to completion. Various responsibilities include logo design, product design, packaging design, apparel designs and advertising campaigns. Each day at Soup Graphix brought a new project for a big name client. Key projects include Disney’s Cars toy packaging, Tonka toy graphics, logo designs for Hasbro, Mattel’s upcoming ventures and Soup Graphix’ website.

Graphic Designer

Mad Media aimed to bridge the gap between traditional and guerilla marketing by strategically and responsibly immersing brands within the youth culture. Specific Responsibilities include involvement in various marketing campaigns for numerous high end clients. Accomplishments include conception and delivery of many comprehensive advertising campaigns for catalogs, web sites, photography and visual media. Specific projects include the design and function of a website for King Shocks, conception and delivery of an identity package (including website design) for Liberty Skate Supply, full marketing package for Method Race Wheels (including identity, branding, ad campaign, website design and POP). A key recent project for a key client included the complete design of a marketing campaign for several of FGX International brands including Anarchy, Angel, and Gargoyles Eyewear.

Lead Designer

Various responsibilities in marketing and product development. Responsibilities included conception and delivery of ad campaigns for catalogs and advertisements as well as logo and branding for the launch of online video blog, AdioVisual.com. Key projects included the design of POP and other marketing goods, logo and marketing packages for the launch of new Shaun White shoe, and SMU colorways of shoes for Russia. In this position I also worked with the product group and was able to gain exposure to the different processes involved in the construction and design of a shoe, from picking thread color to sole designs.

Responsibilities included conception and delivery of ad campaigns, apparel and product design. Projects included all types of design and photography work related to the action sports industry. Specific accomplishments include the design of the layout for the Fall 2007 eyewear catalogue and conception of the 2007 Snow Campaign. Duties also included design of both snow and motocross goggles, which consists of both frame and strap design. In addition to design work, an additional key contribution was the implementation of an organizational process to the file server, which included a standardized tech pack for goggles containing all of the necessary ele¬ments for Dragon’s venders. Relevant experience in the design field and actions sports industry has contributed to the ability to take initiative over key projects. In addition to creativity and design skills, this role required excellent organizational and communication skills.
