I often say that Social Media is my life...and when you do it for a job, that statement is made even more true. I basically eat, sleep and breathe social media and marketing. Everywhere I go I'm looking at logo design, color choices, editing copy and more. I have a constant desire to learn about anything and everything. Luckily for me, in the field of Marketing, that desire to keep learning is ALWAYS being fulfilled!

My duties include customer service, multi-tasking/time management (guest orders, preparing drinks, product knowledge), scheduling, troubleshooting in high-paced environment, new associate training. From September 2012 to February 2013, I was the store manager. My duties as store manager included, but were not limited to, managing a staff of 50+ employees, writing schedules, hiring, training, troubleshooting, ordering products and maintaining inventory, communication with CEO, CFO and owners. One of the most important skills for working the restaurant industry is the ability to "think of your feet" and come up with quick and effective solutions to maintain guest satisfaction.

My freelance graphic design work has included logo design and creation, business collateral (business cards, letterheads, etc.), website design and management, blogging, and CD album artwork.

Clients include wedding & event coordinator Generation B Events, solo acoustic musician James Del, and various blogs including The Mother Effin Truth, The Hidden Veggie and Surviving 25.

Graphic Designer

As Marketing Coordinator at Newman Grace, I work on various projects including promotional materials and ads from conception to implementation, design projects including but not limited to logo design, web design, and business materials design. I also am responsible for maintaining a schedule with production activities and ensuring that all projects are completed on time. Other responsibilities include communicating with clients on the various details of their project, strategic planning, marketing research and analysis, data entry and copy editing.

As Social Media Manager, I often work as a liaison between us (the marketing team) and the client. I coach clients on all aspects social media, including initially building & branding social media sites, maintaining sites. I also work to expand interaction and engagement between consumers and the client/product. When they client prefers to hand the reigns over and leave the account management in our hands, I am responsible for managing all social media accounts which includes creating content, posting, troubleshooting, maintaining brand consistency, and communicating with the client to share analysis of sites. Social media clients include brands, product manufacturers, lifestyle magazines, professional service providers, and global non-profit organizations.

Marketing Coordinator and Social Media Manager

As Social Media Manager at KHS Bicycles, Inc. I am responsible for maintaining all social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) for KHS including sub-brands Free Agent BMX and Manhattan Beach Cruisers. I also am responsible for communicating with team managers and riders to gather content and ensure that all social media marketing is "on brand". Coordinating scheduled events with team and spreading that information among social media sites, is crucial to the day to day function of the social media presence. Pre-event contact, to confirm large and small details of the event as well as post-event follow up are necessary to make sure the information is conveyed to fans in the most timely manner.

As an assistant coordinator, I was responsible for the successful execution of weddings and special events, interface with suppliers and clients, assist with implementing scheduled timelines, troubleshooting and contingency planning, collaborate on design and setup.
