Marketing Director

Nearly 15 years of experience in the arena of marketing, the majority working side-by-side with the CEO of Home Franchise Concepts, Inc., a privately owned, multi-million dollar parent company of Budget Blinds and Tailored Living, two leading franchise brands in the home improvement space with over 1,200 territories in the U.S. and Canada and recently featured on TV shows such as Undercover Boss, Property Brothers At Home, George to the Rescue, and This Old House.   

Developed an array of programs ranging from national advertising campaigns to local customer loyalty and referral programs, TV product integration to constructing local franchise marketing guides and tool boxes, managing complex national budgets to recommending local franchise media spends

Directed and developed internal teams and agency partners to execute on all aspects of marketing initiatives, including creative development and media placement


Construct consumer and B2B marketing plans, brand positioning, key messaging, corporate communications,  promotional calendars, and collateral for HFC’s two brands, Budget Blinds and Tailored Living; contributing to overall sales growth from $250 million to $350 million
Direct internal teams, agency and vendor partners on execution of all traditional and digital marketing initiatives to capture segmented target audiences
Manage complex marketing budgets of $13+ million while reducing overall CPL and increasing ROI  as much as 25% YOY
Cultivate key account partnerships to  drive additional revenue streams and sales growth of 8-10%
Direct and manage local programs for brand franchise owners resulting in YOY increases in Million Dollar Club awards
Build and present monthly, quarterly and annual marketing communications and system-wide reports to shareholders, executive teams, manufacturing partners, and to over 1,200 franchise owners, including at our brand national conventions

Collaborated with sales team to increase ad placement and revenue in all three alternative health publications owned and managed by MPA Media:  Dynamic Chiropractic, Massage Today, and Acupuncture Today
Developed and coordinated promotions to generate “quick sales” of remnant ad space
Worked with local businesses to recommend, build and implement marketing plans
Wrote creative briefs to help direct the internal graphic design team 
Coordinated trade show attendance and managed booth displays
