Project Engineer II

•	Managed team of engineers and designers to develop design concept and publish documents including work plan, structural analysis, alignment and tolerance study, functioning plastics model, and formal design submittal to Naval Reactors
•	Participated in multi-organizational design reviews to present equipment designs and resolve comments
•	Performed and published extensive structural analysis on equipment design using textbook methods, Pro/Engineer, and Mathcad
•	Developed extensive equipment design work plans in which stakeholders were established and schedule milestones were set up through submittal dates
•	Conceptualized with designers and engineers to design cost effective solution to handle spent nuclear fuel for limited use
•	Became qualified test sponsor and developed test plan to test large equipment O-rings and designed scaled down test fixture to replicate in-service conditions
•	Performed multiple reviews on equipment structural analyses and alignment and tolerance studies throughout the department

Mechanical Engineer

•	Coordinated with production staff and subcontractors on projects including rebuilding of conches, boiler installation, and new maintenance shop
•	Designed lids for mixing tanks utilizing AutoCAD; supervised with fabrication of equipment
•	Procurement of steam equipment from multiple vendors for new deodorizer
•	Documented system capacities for steam, condensate, chilled water, and cooling tower systems and drafted layout for new steam and condensate systems
