Managed channel marketing initiatives for Corel’s North American business, reporting directly into the EVP Worldwide Marketing, located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.  As the Regional Marketing Manager, responsible for all channel marketing services for consumer segment of retailers, resellers, system integrators, and independent software vendors.  Corel’s flagship products include; WordPerfect, CorelDraw Graphics Suite and Painter.

Supervised CompUSA’s promotional department for the retail business.  This included the execution of  national sponsorships, product launches and event coordination.
•	Successful product launches to over 160 retail stores and the Internet, iMac/Apple, Windows 98/Microsoft and SmartSuite 97/Lotus
•	Executed national sponsorships with PGA Players Championship, Major League Baseball All-Star Game, Academy Awards and Citrus Bowl annually
•	Maintained CompUSA’s rebate program which produced rebate dollars in excess of $20M annually.  Created and set industry standards for rebate programs
•	Supervised all events and promotional activities for CompUSA’s retail store grand openings.  This included full interior and exterior decorations, entertainment, vendor coordination, direct mail, radio, Internet, newspaper advertisement and sweepstakes execution.
