Mechanical Designer

Enthusiastic and strong-minded professional with over 5 years of mechanical design engineering experience in multiple disciplines. Software proficiency includes: SolidWorks (6yrs), AutoDesk/AutoCAD (10yrs), MS Office, etc.

Generate engineering drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD & SolidWorks models for a wide range of engineering tasks associated with mechanical systems and components. Assist ARES’ engineers in creating and modifying AutoCAD drawings, SolidWorks models, engineering specifications, and other engineering documents. Participate on design teams for projects involving the design of mechanical equipment, systems, buildings, and facilities. Closely follow various client standard/procedures, while producing quality work in a deadline oriented environment.

Provide CAD support & 3D modeling for a wide range of design projects and engineering tasks associated with mechanical systems and components. Create and modify AutoCAD drawings, SolidWorks models/drawings. Solve routine design and engineering problems with minimal direction and/or assistance. Assist in the preparation of engineering risk calculations, specifications, engineering drawings, as well as researching material for technical studies and reports. Aid in the analysis of mechanical system characteristics under various environments. Participate on design teams for the projects involving the design of mechanical equipment, systems, buildings, and facilities.

Mechanical Engineer

Responsible for assisting in the daily operation of a large volume retail showroom and its warehouse facility. In charge for the management and operation of the store, in the absence of the Store Manager. Primary expectation was to conduct sales, and provide excellent customer service. Accurately worked customers flooring measurements from housing blueprints.  Required to ensure that daily bank deposits are completed correctly an accordingly, to store operating procedures. Able to coordinate multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and work flexible hours including weekends.

Assistant Store Manager

Raised in a family with a construction buisness. Installed/fabricated a variety of different cabinets, counters, flooring, framing, trim, etc. at various housing development projects around Eastern Washington. Learned how to skillfully use virtually any hand & power tool in the construction trade at a young age. Developed the ability to work quickly and manage time in order to stay on schedule.
