Exercise Physiologist

Hello everyone my name is Jose Luna. I graduated from Howard Payne University in 2012 and currently reside in Houston. I am an Exercise Physiologist at a therapy clinic and I love what I do! I enjoy working in this field and helping people out. 

I am in the process of becoming a certified personal trainer because I believe fitness is a state of mind and way of life and I want to convey that to the patients at our clinic. I am always eager to learn something and I believe that this field is always evolving.

Work with Occupational Therapist to set up an exercise program for patients to return to work. I also help with the therapist to conduct Functional Capacity Evaluations as a starting point for our patients when they enter the program. Working the therapist and therapy assistant, we write weekly notes to asses the patients progress. We also conduct interim reports to adjust the exercise plan if need be and conduct a discharge evaluation for the patient to return to work.
