My career in the Outdoor Industry grew out of a skill set and passion based in competitive running and freeride skiing.  After graduating College, I worked in large scale oil production to pay-off student debt then transferred my directions back to my true passion--the outdoors. Beginning in Patagonia's Customer Service department, I quickly became a top salesperson setting records, then elevated into Wholesale Dealer Services to focus on managing specialty Retail Accounts for two years. Eventually, I became an Associate Sales Representative/Tech Rep for Patagonia in the Midwest territory. I left my successful career with Patagonia to pursue a personal opportunity in consulting and sales with a start-up branding and design firm, 89 Brands. This experience brought me back to the Truckee/Tahoe area, to help reimagine and redesign the retail experience at Alpenglow Sports in Tahoe City.  I transitioned from a consultant to full-time employee, as the redesign project quickly became more demanding than originally planned. I currently manage the Inventory and Point of Sales system at Alpenglow, along with planning Sales and Events and other various tasks.

Manage Inventory and Point-of-Sale System (Lightspeed) from Product Creation, to Preseason and ASAP Entry/Modification. Design and tailor the customer experience with Lightspeed POS System. Work Sales floor and manage Shipping and Receiving along with various contributions to events (ex. Western States Ragnar, Winter Film Series,  Mountain Festivals), merchandising and company direction.

Assisted with Rebranding and Store Redesign, along with implementing and executing new Inventory Management and Point of Sale Software (Lightspeed Retail) at Alpenglow Sports in Tahoe City, CA. Trained Staff(buyers and salesmen) in operations from Preseasons buying to Point of sale and all steps in-between.  Transitioned existing inventory, suppliers and customer information from manual system into Lightspeed.

Consultant/Project Manager

Work with Regional Sales Rep's and National Sales Managers to execute sales goals and initiatives.  Manage and foster Speciality Retail and National Account relationships through clinics, events, line showings, and trade shows.  Attend Nation and Regional Sales Meetings and Trade Shows.

Associate Sales Representative/Tech Rep (OH, MI, IN, KY, Western PA/Upstate NY)

Responsible for managing wholesale accounts in the Pacific Northwest, Pacific Southwest, West Coast Surf and Southest Sales territories.  Provide assistance and Support to Regional Sales Reps.

In-House Sales Representative

Working as Customer contact via phone and live chat. Tasks include product sales, returns and repairs, trouble shooting and order maintenance.  Fielding public inquiries into Patagonia's Environmental and Corperate Responsibility practices.

Customer Service Representative

Extensive Travel in WY, CO, MT and ND to facilitate drilling of natural gas and oil.  Built and operated Directional Steering Probes including Gamma Radiation Probes and Magnetic/Gravitational Direction Sensors.  Maintain communications and inventory with Directional Engineers and Company Field Office.
