My name is Jodie Wyatt. I am a recent college graduate looking to pursue a job in marketing and visual communications. 

I am driven and creative and have a passion for innovation and the “next best thing.” I believe in leadership in the workplace and among my peers. I have a positive attitude and am always looking for ways to self-improve. I am open-minded, flexible, persistent, and excellent at time-management. 
Through work with my various internships, I have learned how to be conceptual in marketing and design strategies while also fulfilling the clients' needs, developing a strong work ethic, and learning how to give and take constructive criticism.

I provide full-time care to their 1 year-old child and after school care to their 3 year-old child. I am responsible for interaction, learning, and play time, cooking meals, bathing, dressing, nap time, changing diapers, extracurricular activities, running errands, teaching manners, discipline and overseeing their behavioral and social growth, as well as perform basic household chores such as tidying play area, doing dishes, and washing laundry; occasional overnights.

I assist customers in the most efficient way possible by providing knowledge about various sports, as well as high-quality customer service. I greet customers, help find product, stock merchandise on the sales floor, and ring up customer purchases with the ability to work independently and part of a team.

Customer Sales Associate

I coordinate marketing efforts for an active entertainment company who produces a series of events including some of the world’s largest running races, beer festivals, triathlons, obstacle course races, and outdoor events. I implement strategies for design, social media interaction, e-mail advertising, promotional partnerships, and budget planning. I use programs such as Adobe Suites, Google Analytics, Facebook, Twitter, Mail Chimp, Google Docs, and Eventbrite.

I also attend events on the weekends where I experience positions of event coordinating and volunteer coordinating, as well as setting up, producing, and tearing down events that see somewhere between 1,000 to 20,000 participants. At times, I have taken on roles that I have little experience in, but I am motivated and a quick learner, and I am fully committed to expanding my knowledge.

Marketing Coordinator Intern

I provided care to their 3 and 7 year-old children (now 6 and 10) during the summer months and after school. I entertained the kids during the summer months with fun activities such as swimming in their private pool and local country club pool, lunch and dinner outings, movies at the theater, park visits; assisted in picking the kids up during the school year and taking them to their after school activities (some as far as Boulder) such as tennis, soccer, swim lessons, and then completing homework, chores, dinner, and bed time routines; overnight babysitting at times.

Child Caregiver

I worked with the marketing and design team to produce promotional items while following university brands and style guides. I specialized in marketing materials for different offices creating designs for posters, postcards, logos, banners, brochures, bookmarks and booklets. I used programs compatible with the Mac Platform such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

University Relations and Marketing Intern

I assisted children 5-12 with daily curriculum of after school activities as a certified Site Director and Van Driver. I maintained a stable environment for children and families, many from low-income and harsh family environments, as well as demonstrated the ability to organize, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
