Senior Clerical Aide

I have been working in a professional public organization for almost 3 years now and working in such an environment has given me the opportunity to establish and prepare myself for a future job this I can accomplish and be successful at. Working as a clerical aide has provided me the knowledge of internal administration and how important the job really is, not only for the employees but for the customers (public) as well. My goals are to better myself and keep progressing day by day at my job and to possibly make advancements internally through a company.

Job responsibilities include administrative duties within the Training Division. It is a very intricate role which requires being concise and accurate every day. The jobs includes the follow duties of emailing, faxing, scheduling, booking, and coordinating training classes for our Officers who will be attending in house and offsite training classes. Management of training records on computer software, creating memos, providing numerous follow up emails/ phone calls are an everyday task.All necessary paperwork is prepared, reviewed and processed on a daily basis and within a timely manner. Our training site is used to host courses for other outside agencies such as Police, Fire, and Public Sector organizations. Courses that are coordinated and scheduled include Perishable Skills, Homeland Security, CalOSHA, Supervisor Training as well as hosting recruit training, meetings, etc. Assistance to other members of the staff is done on a daily basis in creating new entry logs, data research, etc.
