Mechanical Engineer

•	Design products according to customer request using AutoCAD to accommodate customers equipment
•	Produce CAD drawing using AutoCAD and Autodesk for manufacturing in 3d and with sheet metal
•	Tested prototype workstations for Stability and mechanical strength in accordance to ANSI/UL 1286 Standards
•	Designed new product line for company, largest of which will be shipped with another companies newest X-ray detectors
•	Taught interns how to use CNC router and use the program BobCAD

•	Built robot to house a laptop as its brain and iRobot create base
•	Used ROS to control robot, using Wi-Fi to operate and Microsoft Kinect camera to see
•	Taught interns working at 168 Computers how the robot is built and controlled

Design, build and tested a parallel hybrid go-kart system for the purpose of racing in competition designed to boost the go-kart performance during a dead start and to give more power during critical moments of a race
•	Designed structural support that can withstand racing condition using calculation and FEA analysis, these structures has to be able to flex with the go-kart, yet be light enough to not hinder performance
•	Constructed circuit for feedback and control of motor allowing the driver to interface with system
•	Modeled and tested models via Ansys and Solidworks to decide the superior design in terms of weight, cost, and performance
•	Created technical report and presentations to be presented in front of professional and of our peers
•	Successfully finished project within limited budget and time frame
•	Reduced complexity of design to something that can be rapid prototyped and assembled efficiently

•	Supervised and taught new members to design and build a robot through Autodesk Inventor
•	Designed new testing and training for new members, designed to efficiently teach new members how to use Inventor within the limited time frame before the design phase of the competition begins
•	Collaborated with team leaders to plan team’s strategy and design in the competition

Design Team's Vice President

•	Supervised a group of over 60 members how to construct a robot
•	Taught new members how to build a robot, this includes teaching safety procedures and maintenance
•	Designed new training course for new members, designed find each member strong points
•	Built robot using machines such as lathe, mill, and drill press
•	Worked with PR to get the team's name out, including many volunteer roles and presentation to public
