I like to be challenged. Often this means taking on problems and looking for creative solutions. Sometimes it means creative writing and graphic design. Usually it means learning something new and making an impact—and for me, there's nothing better.

Works with editors of Boulder Magazine, Boulder Home & Garden, and all subsidiary publications. Writes and edits sections of the magazines, leads fact-checking and guide listing updates as well as contributes to overall direction of the editorial. Started weekly blog which has quadrupled the traffic to our website.

Freelance writing, editing, and graphic design services under Beardflower Creative. Have designed websites in Adobe Muse, edited a novel and several business plans, written a short story collection and two screenplays, and worked on various print design projects and marketing materials.

Founding partner and Editor-in-Chief of a biannually published festival magazine in Telluride, Colorado. The magazine was distributed across several states including Colorado, NM, and Wyoming.

I wore many hats including, but not limited to: editing, writing, designing the magazine, web design and development, managing writers, and the occasional foray into carpentry.
