Assistant Freshmen Baseball Coach

Currently I work as a staff accountant where my duties include reconciling our inter company general ledger accounts, creating and distributing the weekly sales report, maintaining the daily cash spread sheet, and also maintaining vehicle records, issuing fuel cards and GPS units, making sure all units are working properly, and keeping all registrations up to date. I also spent 7 years working retail at a large sporting goods retailer where I was a department head responsible for scheduling employees in my department, meeting sales goals, and overall maintenance of the department.

Responsibilities Include:
-Creating and distributing weekly sales report
-Reconciling intercompany general ledger accounts
-Updating and maintaining daily cash report
-Assisting accounts payable with invoice data entry
-Fleet responsibilities:
  -Issue fuel cards and driver PINs
  -Process vehicle registrations
  -Ensure all vehicles have GPS units and that they are working properly
  -Update and maintain comprehensive vehicle list
  -Process vehicle auction paperwork

Staff Accountant

Managed the General Athletics department. I was responsible for setting and meeting sales goals, managing 5-7 other employees, re-merchandising the department to increase sales, inventory counts, customer service, training employees, and maintaining a high level of knowledge in all products related to my department.
