For the past six years, I have pursued a career in the arts and entertainment industry in conjunction with continuing my visual and performing arts education. While on this path, I was able to work with multiple institutions that allowed me to share my love of the arts while acquiring multiple skills that pertain to reaching out to the public, grasping their attention, and showing them that beauty exists in all forms. These skills have allowed me to show that artists can take scatterbrained ideas, process them, and produce exquisite pieces all in an organized fashion. Organization equals quality work and the assurance that your time is spent wisely and efficiently for your client or employer. I live the theory and statements above, which is why I believe; I am a perfect match for your company. I am outgoing, friendly, organized, efficient, and always willing to go the extra mile for the customer and my employer. I know that I will immediately become an asset to the team I assist, while honing and developing my own skills at your company. I graduated from California State University San Marcos with a degree in Visual and Performing Arts in 2010. While attending CSU San Marcos, I created, hosted, and participated in numerous Art shows utilizing all forms of media; with unaltered photography, Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, sculptures, and even installations. Here I won a photography contest, which placed my photograph on the school’s wall. From here, I moved back to Los Angeles and continued my artwork while working as a Marketing Manager at a local school. With no room for growth, I left the school and I was contracted to develop, produce, and manage the experiential marketing campaign for Logitech/Ultimate Ears, as well as provide Branding Strategy to differentiate Ultimate Ears from Logitech. While on this tour, with a blessing, I continued my work as the Marketing and Social Media Manager for Rising Phoenix Management. Therefore, I am able to work within tight deadlines, excel in high stress environments, and liaise multiple moving parts. After the contract ended, I started work at an advertising agency working on Susan G. Komen. I then followed love to New Orleans where I was contracted to be the Branding and Communications Consultant for the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra. Most recently, I was hired at a tech start-up where I am the Director of Sales and Marketing. After 10 months, the love died, and I am moving home to where my heart always belonged, in Southern California.Although I was in pursuit of a general career in the creative industries, my education, and experience lends itself specifically to this opportunity. While working as an Experiential Marketing and Campaign Manager, Marketing Manager, and a hands on artist, my experience is rooted in all facets of media and art direction; where I have been able to maintain my passion and exquisite eye for creativity. Specifically related to this position, I have the requisite training and familiarity necessary to meet and exceed all of the listed requirements. I have a relentless drive paired with a “whatever it-takes” attitude and I am ready to bring these qualities and qualifications to your team where I may go above and beyond for your company. I know that this will prove to be a mutually beneficial relationship, and I believe that I have demonstrated an ability to attain my goals as indicated by my academic achievements and experience. It was through this journey that I was able to refine my work ethic and develop from the ground up. And, it is with you that I would like to utilize my work ethic, education, and experience to define my professional career.
